SONORO APPOINTS NEW CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

Sonoro Metals Corp. has appointed Salil Dhaumya, CPA, CMA, as chief financial officer of Sonoro following the resignation of Scott Kelly as CFO and a director of the company.

The members of Sonoro's board of directors express their gratitude for the significant contributions Mr. Kelly has made to the company and wish him well in his future endeavours.

Mr. Dhaumya is a certified professional accountant with over 20 years of relevant experience providing financial and administrative services to Canadian and United States public exploration companies with international subsidiaries. He continues to serve as CFO at both Warrior Gold Inc. and Canada Rare Earth Corp. Mr. Dhaumya is also the co-founder and CFO of Green Mountain Health Alliance Ltd. and previously served as the CFO, principal accounting officer and secretary of Pan American Goldfields Ltd. (with mining operations in Mexico) and as a controller with Aquilini Investment Group. Mr. Dhaumya obtained a bachelor of commerce (honours) degree from Panjab University, India, and is a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of British Columbia.

The company has also issued Mr. Dhaumya 200,000 stock options with an exercise price of 16 cents for a period of two years from the date of grant.
