SHAW ANNOUNCES REDEMPTION OF 5.50% SENIOR NOTES DUE 2020 AND 3.15% SENIOR NOTES DUE 2021

Shaw Communications Inc. will redeem all of the corporation's outstanding $500-million 5.5 per cent senior notes due Dec. 7, 2020, as well as all of the corporation's outstanding $300-million 3.15 per cent senior notes due Feb. 19, 2021. The redemption date will be Dec. 24, 2019.

The redemption price of the 2020 notes is defined in the indenture governing the 2020 notes and includes accrued and unpaid interest thereon to the redemption date. The redemption price of the 2021 notes is defined in the indenture governing the 2021 notes and includes accrued and unpaid interest thereon to the redemption date. Both the 2020 redemption price and 2021 redemption price will be payable in cash, in accordance with the terms of the aforementioned indentures.
