The critical and specialty minerals stocks box score on Friday was a dreary 70-94-156 as the TSX Venture Exchange added seven points to 921. Scott Sheldon's Go Metals Corp. (GOCO) added one cent to seven cents on 4,000 shares.
Go Metals says that Daniel Matthews's Eureka Metals Corp. (ERKA: $0.295), its option partner on the KM98 project in Quebec, is busy working the project. Mechanical stripping is under way, exposing bedrock over a 100-metre strike that is about 10 metres wide, "revealing a substantial zone of massive oxide mineralization." As well, the company has excavated a 30-metre western extension to investigate the surrounding geology and perhaps extend the mineralized zone.
What is the target of Go Metals' chase would be a logical question posed by newcomers. The answer, curiously, is unknown, unless prospective shareholders read deep into the company's end-of-release boilerplate. KM98, it says, is a titanium-vanadium-iron project. Assays are pending, the company does say, noting that it collected over three dozen channel samples.
