The critical and specialty minerals stocks box score was a pleasant 117-61-132 on Wednesday as the TSX Venture Exchange added 13 points to 982. Magna Mining Inc. (NICU) was a busy trader today as it added seven cents to $2.16 on 2.17 million shares in silence. Its last news -- if you can call it that -- came late last week, when Magna touted a technical report, a regulator-required document that detailed the company's last real news, its mid-February maiden reserve estimate for McCreedy.
Nikolaos Cacos's Blue Sky Uranium Corp. (BSK) was unchanged at six cents on 208,000 shares. The company has begun drilling at its Ivana East target, about 10 kilometres northeast of the Ivana deposit, on its Amarillo Grande project in central Argentina. The 1,200-metre effort includes a series of scout holes that will be drilled to depths of about 50 metres each, targeting shallow mineralization that it expects to find lying along the unconformity between the Chichinales formation and its underlying basement rocks.
