The critical and specialty minerals stocks box score was a positive 102-73-135 on Wednesday as the TSX Venture Exchange rose three points to 1,080. Energy Fuels Inc. (EFR), a uranium and rare earth elements producer in Utah and Colorado, jumped $1.24 to $29.78 on 2.38 million shares today. There has been nothing new since the company rolled out its 2025 results and 2026 guidance a week ago.

Sir Mick Davis and Hanre Rossouw's NextSource Materials Inc. (NEXT), up one-half cent to 30.5 cents on 536,000 shares, has been a busy beaver this week. On Monday, it said that Jaco Crouse would be leaving his role as chief financial officer, having accepted a senior position with another organization. His unnamed future employer appears in no hurry to have him start, as Mr. Crouse will remain with NextSource for up to four months as a transition "to support an orderly handover of responsibilities." (Yes, that is vague, but NextSource has no idea of who will replace Mr. Crouse: It "will coordinate with external advisers to progress the search for a new CFO.")
