The diamond and specialty minerals stocks box score on Thursday was a positive 98-82-130 as the TSX Venture Exchange added five points to 560. Richard Quesnel's Consolidated Lithium Metals Inc. (CLM) rose one-half cent to three cents on 4.45 million shares today. (An eager buyer gobbled up two million shares at the open from several sellers.) There has been nothing new since mid-February when the company touted assays from its Vallee joint venture with Australia-based Sayona Mining Inc. -- hits of up to 1.04 per cent lithium oxide across 7.15 metres.

Matthew Wood's thin-trading Aranjin Resources Ltd. (ARJN) closed unchanged at one-half cent on 92,000 shares Wednesday but was untraded today as the company crafts another promotional reinvention. The company, which began life in 2013 as a cash shell, Turquoise Capital Corp., took four years to complete a qualifying transaction -- the reverse takeover of Mr. Wood's Five Star Diamonds Ltd., which was touting Brazilian diamonds.
