The diamond and specialty minerals stocks box score for Tuesday was a bleak 50-126-134 as the TSX Venture Exchange fell 13 points to 557. Corey Dias's Anfield Energy Inc. (AEC) fell one-half cent to 9.5 cents on 3.37 million shares. The company, a uranium explorer, has been silent for a month and its last significant news came two months ago, when it closed its acquisition of the Marquez-Juan Tafoya property in the Grants uranium district of New Mexico. (To do so, Anfield issued 185 million shares and agreed to pay $5-million -- with the last cash payment due today.)

Zen Huang and Wes Roberts's (and not-quite-yet Ken Johnson's) Golden Share Resources Inc. (GSH: $0.045) is crawling toward a conclusion of its approved-by-everyone-but-the-regulators reverse takeover of Brazil-based Lipari Diamond Mines Ltd. The two companies agreed to the terms of their merger in February and shareholders had signed off on the plan late in May, but the corporate jawing continues with the regulators regarding final approvals.
