The diamond and specialty minerals stocks box score for Monday was a positive 102-81-127 as the TSX Venture Exchange added two points to 627. Greg Reimer's Surge Battery Metals Inc. (NILI) traded busily, adding six cents to 66 cents on 2.34 million shares on continuing enthusiasm for its lithium hunt in Nevada.

"Discovery in motion" and "drill for discovery," scream website banners for Wes Roberts's Golden Share Resources Corp. (GSH: $0.05). Unfortunately, there has been no sign of either a drill or motion on its company's Ogoki diamond project in Northern Ontario since it acquired the property and first discussed drill plans in 2017.

There has also not been a peep in months about the company's reverse takeover of Ken Johnson's Lipari Diamond Mines Ltd., which operates the Brauna mine in Brazil and looks to set a bigger one up at the Tchitengo project in Angola. The combination with Lipari is the key to Golden Share's future, as after years of false starts at Ogoki, there is little market appetite for that story.
