Debeers bought into the diamond mine, setup the stone cutting outfits near the mine....and suddenly Canada is number 1 or 2 diamond "producer" in the world...LOL...what of all those international flights landing at whitehorse and yellowknife? ..debeers blood diamonds being flown in by the container load and then etching polar bears on the stones, "canada produced" diamonds...sounds like they now need to up the flight numbers so Ontario will be the world's largest diamond producer ;}
