Vancouver's Naeem Tyab, recently sentenced to three years in a U.S. jail for a bribery scheme, is set to hand over an impressive list of assets to the U.S. government as it seeks to collect on a $27-million forfeiture order. (All figures are in U.S. dollars.) The items that he will forfeit include properties in New York, Miami and California, as well as Rolls Royce cars. Also on the list are 153 pieces of art and several De Beers watches.

The asset forfeitures come as part of a case in which federal prosecutors claimed that Mr. Tyab arranged payouts to officials from the country of Chad in order to secure oil rights in that country. The payouts led to Mr. Tyab realizing $27.6-million in illegal gains, prosecutors said. There was no trial, as Mr. Tyab pleaded guilty in 2019, and on Sept. 6, 2023, received three years in jail.

As part of Mr. Tyab's sentencing, prosecutors obtained a court order, entered on Sept. 22, 2023, that directs the forfeiture of a long list of assets. The government has already sold some of the assets, as Mr. Tyab agreed to voluntarily hand them over when he pleaded guilty. Items on the list include bank and brokerage accounts, as well as shares in public companies.

Marc rich sanctions money started the now biggest mining companies in the world by taking over the biggest mining companies in North America where as above prosecution of North Americans takes place for bribery, Marc rich companies started with illegal sanctions monies, and bribery looks common with stienmetz ruling a few years ago, but stienmetz not financially raped, nor the directors of other big miners whom he provided documentation, why?
