COMMERCE SPLIT MONTHLY DIVIDEND DECLARED FOR CLASS I AND CLASS II PREFERRED SHARES

Commerce Split Corp. has declared its monthly distribution of 2.5 cents per share (30 cents annually) for Class I preferred shareholders, and 3.125 cents per share (37.5 cents annually) for Class II preferred shareholders. The Class I preferred share dividends are paid at an annual rate of 6 per cent based on the $5 repayment amount. Class II preferred share dividends are paid at an annual rate of 7.5 per cent based on its $5 repayment amount. Distributions are payable Sept. 8, 2023, to shareholders on record as at Aug. 31, 2023.

The company invests in common shares of Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce, a Canadian financial institution.
