                    WIND RIVER ENERGY ANNOUNCES CEASE TRADING ORDERS

Wind River Energy Corp. (the "Company") announces that the TSX Venture Exchange and the British
Columbia Securities Commission have issued cease trading orders for Wind River Energy Corp. as of
May 21, 2015.

Both cease trading orders were issued because the Company failed to timely file audited financial
statements and other related documents. Wind River management expects to file the required
documents and apply for reinstatement of trading promptly.
