The Globe and Mail reports in its Friday, March 1, edition that ATB Capital Markets analyst Chris Murray continues to rate WSP Global "sector perform." The Globe's David Leeder writes in the Eye On Equities column that Mr. Murray gave his share target a $10 boost to $220. Analysts on average target the shares at $222.14. Mr. Murray says in a note: "WSP delivered solid results, as organic growth and margin expansion underpinned a better-than-expected margin profile. Management issued guidance for healthy organic growth (5 to 8 per cent) and margin expansion, reaffirming that it sees a path to 20-per-cent EBITDA margins over the medium term. While WSP Global enters 2024 on a strong footing with margins trending higher and balance sheet capacity in place to be acquisitive, valuations remain elevated, leaving us neutral on shares." The Globe reported on Jan. 12 that CIBC World Markets analyst Jacob Bout had reaffirmed his "outperformer" recommendation for WSP Global. The shares were then going for $189.34.
