                         Director Appointment and Grant of Stock Options

Vancouver, B.C., February 20, 2015 - WELLSTAR ENERGY CORP. (TSX-V: WSE) (the
"Company") is also pleased to announce the appointment of Christopher P. Cherry to the Company's
Board of Directors. Mr. Cherry replaces Mr. Minaz Dhanani who resigned on February 19, 2015

The Company also announces that it has granted stock options to certain to directors, senior officers,
consultants and employees of the Company to purchase up to 117,068 common shares of the Company at
$0.10 per share exercisable in whole or in part for a term of 36 months from the date of grant.
