WALKER RIVER GRANTS STOCK OPTIONS

Walker River Resources Corp.'s board of directors has granted certain directors and consultants of the company stock options to purchase up to 2.3 million common shares of the company at a price of 21.5 cents per common share for a period of five years.

The stock options are subject to the terms of the company's stock option plan and regulatory approval.
