Mr. Derek Macpherson reports
WEST POINT GOLD ADDS C$4.1 MILLION THROUGH WARRANT EXERCISES, STRENGTHENING TREASURY AHEAD OF 30,000-METRE DRILL PROGRAM
West Point Gold Corp. has received approximately $4.1-million from the exercise of outstanding warrants, further strengthening its treasury ahead of its planned 30,000-metre drill program at the flagship Gold Chain project in Arizona. The additional capital positions the company to execute its planned exploration activities through May, 2027, while maintaining financial flexibility.
"The significant exercise of outstanding warrants reflects continued investor confidence in West Point Gold and the direction we're taking at Gold Chain. This support has further strengthened our balance sheet, providing the financial flexibility to execute our planned 30,000-metre drill program through May, 2027, while maintaining a strong treasury. We plan to build on that confidence through disciplined execution, expanding the known mineralized footprint, testing new targets and demonstrating the broader potential of Gold Chain. We believe the work ahead represents an important opportunity to create meaningful long-term value for our shareholders," stated Derek Macpherson, president and chief executive officer.
Gold Chain exploration program and warrant exercise update
The planned 30,000-metre drill program at Gold Chain should expand the known mineralized footprint and test additional exploration targets. The company expects to provide updates as drilling progresses and results become available.
Since June 30, 2026, the company has received approximately $4.1-million from warrant exercises. The remaining outstanding warrants and their expiry dates are summarized in Table 1.
