The Globe and Mail reports in its Friday, Oct. 17, edition that TD Cowen analyst Cherilyn Radbourne is "somewhat cautious" on Canadian heavy equipment dealers heading into earnings season, believing near-term conditions remain "fluid." The Globe's David Leeder writes in the Eye On Equities column that Ms. Radbourne continues to rate Wajax "hold." Ms. Radbourne elevated her share target by a loonie to $25. Analysts on average target the shares at $24.50. Ms. Radbourne says in a note, "Wajax has leverage to the same trends as Finning/Toromont but plays in a somewhat smaller equipment size, and we would like to see Wajax's balance sheet leverage and inventory levels decline before turning more positive." The Globe reported on April 25 that Ms. Radbourne had reaffirmed her "buy" recommendation for Wajax. The shares could then be had for $17.39. The Globe reported on May 28 that TD Cowen analyst Patrick Sullivan had lowered his rating for Wajax to "hold" from "buy." The shares could then be had for $22.37.
