This news release does not constitute an offer of securities.

Brossard, Québec - TheNewswire - September 30 , 2026 — Windfall Geotek Inc. (CSE: WIN; OTCQB: WINKF) ("Windfall" or the "Company"), a leader in the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and machine learning for mineral discovery since 2005, is pleased to announce the renewal of its claims on 592 hectares successful modeling and extraction of the geophysical "digital signature"

The AI zinc targets staked by Windfall Geotek was generated by an AI Model with a higher level of similarity using only the zinc-copper assays characterizing seven (7) VMS Deposits located southeast of Bathurst Mining Camp (BMC), either Brunswick Nr.12, Brunswick Nr.6, Key Anacon, Captain, Captain North Extension, Heath Steele and Stratmat Main.

The VMS-1 Upper Sprig Brook property was staked in September 2025 for its VMS (An-Cu-AgAu) potential based on AI Targeting Study of Bathurst Mining Camp in 2025. It is located approximately 14 km east-south-east from the VMS Heath Steele Mines and 6 km south from the VMS Captain Deposit, in New Brunswick. The property is readily accessible via the Highway 430 and through secondary logging roads which branch off the Highway 430.

Technical Summary & Methodology

Windfall Geotek used a set of 694 variables built from 1995 Multiparameter (magnetic, radiometric, electromagnetic) Survey and the 2004 MEGATEM Survey, and gridded to a 50m cell size (model resolution) was used over the regional modeling surface area which corresponds to 1 363 428 data points (pixels). A total of 26 887 zinc and copper assays were used as learning data. These training data originated from different sources: (1) Government of New-Brunswick Energy & Mines department drill hole database; (2) Votorantim Metals Canada; (3) Data CD in Goodfellow et al., 2003 Massive Sulfide Deposits of the Bathurst Mining Camp, New-Brunswick, and Northern Maine: Economic Geology Monograph 11, 930 p; and (4) Windfall Geotek Compilation in the Hafmile, Chester and Captain deposits).

Read the work summary:

GEOLOGY & EXPLORATION ACTIVITIES The VMS-1 Upper Sprig Brook property is principally underlain by rocks of the Tetagouche Group that includes felsic volcanics of the Nepisiquit Falls Formation and Flat Landing Brook Formation in fault contact with the mafic volcanics of the Boucher Brook Formation.

Exploration activities have taken place on the VMS-1 Upper Sprig Brook property and its vicinity since the 1953 (Figure 2). A total of 37 holes has been drilled from 1953 to 2005 to test MEGATEM II Time Domain Airborne Electromagnetic (EM) anomalies. Most of the holes were target on EM anomalies with conductors explained by graphitic sediments and on stratigraphic purpose. However, some mineralized zones characterized by minor chalcopyrite and few pyritic and /or quartz shists showing negligible gold are reported by few drillholes.

Figure 2.

Best drill results to date include:

 • Hole B-3 (1953): 9.2% Zn, 0.44% Cu and 170 g/t Ag (2)

• Hole B-23 (1953): 4.8% Zn, 0.47 % Cu and 100 g/t Ag (2)

• Hole A72-5 (1972): 0.2 % Zn, 0.6% Cu and 4 g/t Ag (2)

• Hole SB-05-03 (2005): 0.27% Cu and 0.21% Cu over 0.4m (1)

  3. 3- A strong compilation of historic data followed by terrain campaign (rock or soil sampling) will plan by Windfall Geotek for the near future.

Management Commentary

Michel Fontaine, President and CEO of Windfall Geotek, commented: “Windfall Geotek’s AI System continues to demonstrate the power of Digital Exploration by using a proven, data‑driven approach to focus exploration on smaller, higher‑priority areas. By narrowing the footprint before major field spending, our technology makes exploration more targeted, efficient, and cost‑effective.

The Bathurst project marks an important evolution in our business model—from generating AI/ML targets for clients to selectively participating in the exploration and potential value creation of targets produced by our own technology. After 41 client discoveries, it is time to showcase the full strength of our AI System and operate as a hybrid company, combining services with direct AI‑driven Digital Exploration.

We look forward to advancing these high‑priority VMS targets through the next phases of work, with the goal of validating and ultimately drill‑testing the strongest targets. This is what Digital Exploration should deliver: better targeting, disciplined capital deployment, and direct participation in the value unlocked by our AI.”
