The Globe and Mail reports in its Wednesday edition that Eight Capital analysts Adhir Kadve and Christian Sgro see momentum building at enterprise software companies employing generative artificial intelligence. The Globe's David Leeder writes in the Eye On Equities column that the analysts call it a "secular growth theme" that "will dominate the technology narrative for the foreseeable future." To gain exposure to the trend the Eight Capital analysts recommend Well Health Technologies, which they rate "buy," with a $10 share target. Analysts on average target the shares at $8.20. The analysts say in a note: "Well Health's unique positioning as a leading clinic network in North America creates an opportunity to aggregate, test, and integrate AI solutions to drive efficiency. The company's AI voice offering is a first example of a productized solution that automatically transcribes SOAP notes for practitioners. We see the potential for a product roadmap that ultimately provides a robust AI-assistant to doctors, enabled by Well Health's widely installed EMR and network." The Globe reported on May 1 that Raymond James analyst Michael Freeman rated Well Health "outperform" in new coverage. It was then worth $5.56.
