WESCAN ENERGY ANNOUNCES ISSUANCE OF STOCK OPTIONS

Wescan Energy Corp. has issued a total of one million options to purchase common shares in the capital of the company to the chief executive office and chairman of the board of directors of the company at a price of eight cents per share. The options vest as to one-third immediately, with an additional one-third vesting on the six month anniversary of the date of grant and the final one third vesting on the first anniversary of the date of grant. The options expire on July 21, 2030. The issuance of the options is subject to approval by the TSX Venture Exchange, if necessary.
