PURANIUM ENERGY ANNOUNCES PROPOSED NON-BROKERED PRIVATE PLACEMENT

Puranium Energy Ltd. is offering a non-brokered private placement of up to 7,252,781 units at a price of eight cents per unit for gross proceeds of $580,223.

Each unit will comprise one common share and one common share purchase warrant, with each warrant entitling the holder to purchase one additional common share at a price of 12.5 cents for a period of 36 months from the closing of the offering. All securities issued pursuant to offering will be subject to a four-month-and-one-day statutory hold period and legended accordingly. No finders' fees will be paid in connection with the offering.

Proceeds of the offering will be used toward general working capital expenditures of the company, with approximately $185,000 in connection with the settlement of amounts the company owes various creditors.
