UNITY ENERGY CORP. TO UNDERTAKE GROUND SAMPLING PROGRAM AT
                        MILLERS CROSSING LITHIUM PROJECT, NEVADA

                                            FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

April 21, 2016 Unity Energy Corp. (UTY:TSX.V) and (UJN2 Frankfurt) "Unity" or the "Company is pleased to
announce that the Company is applying for permitting for a sub-surface sampling program to test brine sediments
on its Miller's Crossing Lithium Project in the South Big Smoky Valley, Nevada and expects to be on the ground in
early May 2016.

The Phase 1 exploration program will consist of up to 20 short holes, drilled with a short-hole drilling platform.
Samples will be taken to a depth of up to 5 metres and with NQ2 rods for superior sample sizes. The purpose of
the drilling will be to test surface layers for lithium and other commercial elements. The results of this program
alongside historical gravity survey data will be used to develop a detailed exploration plan for the property. Subject
to results, Phase 2 exploration will consist of ground geophysics (to identify subsurface conductors) and reverse
circulation drilling to test the playa at depth for mineralization.

The Millers Crossing Project fits well into the playa-type brine deposit model as it shares geological similarities wi
--->th
Clayton Valley, the only lithium producing brine operation in North America. A playa is an internally drained brine
deposit, the surface of which is primarily composed of silts and clays in which lithium can accumulate from the
surrounding source rocks during successive evaporation and concentration events.

Other explorers in the Big Smoky Valley have recently met with encouraging results from surface sampling. At the
end of 2015, Ultra Lithium Inc. completed a sediment and water sampling program on its Big Smoky Project,
located approximately 10km southwest of Unity's Miller's Crossing Project; samples from hand auguring returned
assays anomalous for lithium, boron, potassium and magnesium. (See Ultra Lithium Inc. news release of March 14,
2016)

Background

The Miller's Crossing Lithium Project, comprised of approximately 1,920 acres (777Ha) of contiguous placer claims,
is located in the Big Smoky Valley, Esmeralda County, Nevada. The Big Smoky Valley is located immediately north
of the Clayton Valley, home to Albemarle's Silver Peak Lithium Mine (in continuous operation since 1967), and is
where Pure Energy recently identified an inferred resource of 816,000 metric tonnes of lithium carbonate
equivalent (LCE)* at a cut-off of 20mg/L in brine. (*Technical Report (2015) Spanjers, MS. PG.)
The Miller's Crossing Project is located northeast of ground held by Ultra Lithium, and is ~40km north of the Silver
Peak mine. The principal target at the Miller's Crossing Project is a large northeast trending gravity low anomaly
which is suggestive of an in-filled basin. The Big Smoky Valley was investigated with regional reverse circulation
("RC") drilling in 1979 by the United States Geological Surv ey (USGS) and anomalous lithium values were
encountered in the basin sediments. The quality and concentrations of lithium brines discovered in the Clayton
Valley may be present in the Big Smoky Valley.
