           UNITY ANNOUNCES $445,000 NON-BROKERED PRIVATE PLACEMENT

April 8, 2016 -- Unity Energy Corp., (TSX.V:UTY) ("Unity" or the "Company") is pleased to
announce that it intends to raise up to $445,000 by selling up to an aggregate of 2,225,000 units
at a price of $0.20 per unit. Each unit consists of one (1) common share and one-half (1/2)
transferrable share purchase warrant. Each whole warrant will be exercisable at a price of $0.30
for 24 months from the date of closing.

Closing of the offering is subject to a number of conditions, including receipt of all necessary
corporate and regulatory approvals, including approval of the TSX Venture Exchange. All
securities issued in connection with the offering will be subject to a statutory hold period of four
months plus a day from the date of issuance, in accordance with applicable securities legislation.

A price reservation form was filed with the TSX Venture Exchange on March 8, 2016.

Proceeds from the offering will be used for general working capital and corporate purposes.
