AMERICAN SALARS ANNOUNCES NON-BROKERED PRIVATE PLACEMENT FULLY COMMITTED

American Salars Lithium Inc.'s previously announced non-brokered private placement of up to $175,000 at 10.5 cents per unit, consisting of up to 1,666,666 units, has been fully subscribed. Each unit comprises one common share and one common share purchase warrant. Each warrant entitles the holder to purchase one additional common share for a period of 24 months at a price of 14 cents per share.

The company will use the proceeds from the financing for exploration and for general working capital. All securities issued will be subject to a four-month-and-one-day hold period from the date of issuance pursuant to applicable securities legislation. This financing is subject to the standard Canadian Securities Exchange approval.
