AMERICAN SALARS CLOSES PRIVATE PLACEMENT FINANCING

American Salars Lithium Inc. has completed a non-brokered private placement which raised gross proceeds of $844,999. The company issued 4,224,995 units at a price of 20 cents per unit. Each unit is composed of one common share of the company and one-half of one whole common share purchase warrant, with each warrant being exercisable for the purchase of an additional common share at a price of 25 cents per share for a 12-month period.

The company also paid finders fees of 10 per cent cash and issued 65,000 warrants to eligible finders.

The securities are subject to a four-month-and-one-day hold period. The company plans to use the proceeds of the offering for mineral exploration and general working capital.
