Mr. Darcy Higgs reports
URZ3 ENERGY CORP. EXPANDS FOOTPRINT IN THE POWDER RIVER BASIN WITH NEW CLAIMS AND STATE LEASE ACQUISITIONS
The staking of claims and acquisition of state leases by URZ3 Energy Corp. in the highly prospective Powder River basin of Wyoming are continuing. This strategic expansion is based on extensive reviews of newly acquired historical drill logs and reports from American Nuclear Drilling in the 1970s, as well as positive results from a recent radiometric survey conducted on the company's Dry Fork uranium property. These combined data were critical in expanding the land position.
The Powder River basin is renowned for its rich uranium deposits and has a storied history of uranium production. Members of the URZ3 team have first-hand experience in the area, having put an in situ recovery mine into production in the past. This knowledge, combined with the newly acquired historical data and recent geophysical results, positions URZ3 to capitalize on the untapped potential of the region.
A radiometric survey was carried out over parts of the Dry Fork uranium property in late 2025. The survey identified several areas with elevated radioactive counts. One area in particular in the north-central part of the property delineated a broad zone across multiple lines.
"Our recent acquisitions in the Powder River basin signify a pivotal step in our growth strategy," said Darcy Higgs, interim chief executive officer of URZ3 Energy. "The combination of our team's in-depth experience and the wealth of historical information we have reviewed allows us to target areas with the highest potential for uranium resources. We are excited about the opportunity to advance these claims and leases into the next phase of exploration."
The company's technical team has meticulously analyzed historical drilling data and geological reports, identifying key zones that demonstrate promising uranium mineralization. These data, coupled with findings from American Nuclear Drilling and the recent radiometric survey, have reinforced URZ3's belief in the viability of the region for future uranium production.
URZ3 Energy remains committed to sustainable and responsible mining practices while contributing to the growing demand for nuclear energy. The Powder River basin's strategic significance in the uranium market positions URZ3 to play a crucial role in the energy sector as global interest in clean energy sources continues to rise.
"We are dedicated to our mission of providing clean, reliable energy and are excited to explore the potential this region holds," added Mr. Higgs. "This is just the beginning of our efforts in the Powder River basin, and we look forward to updating our stakeholders on our progress."
