2026-01-19 21:45 ET - New Listing

The Toronto Stock Exchange reports that Hamilton Champions Utilities Index ETF will be listed at 5:01 p.m. on Jan. 20, 2026, for trading at the open on Jan. 21, 2026. According to the TSX, there will be 62,501 Class E units of the exchange-traded fund (ETF) issued and outstanding, with no securities reserved for issuance. The units will trade under the symbol UMVP, in Canadian dollars and with Cusip No. 407068 10 5.

The TSX reports that the ETF seeks to replicate, to the extent reasonably possible and before the deduction of fees and expenses, the performance of a rules-based utilities index. Specifically, the ETF currently seeks to replicate the Solactive Canadian Utility Services High Dividend Index (or any successor thereto). According to the TSX, the ETF will make distributions to its unitholders on a monthly basis. Such distributions will be paid in cash unless a unitholder is participating in the reinvestment plan.

The ETF's manager and trustee is Hamilton Capital Partners Inc., its transfer agent and registrar is TSX Trust Company at its principal offices in Toronto, and its fiscal year-end is Dec. 31. As stated in its prospectus dated Jan. 8, 2026, the ETF is issuing 62,501 Class E units at $16 per unit in its initial public offering. It expects to close the offering before the open on Jan. 21, 2026. The designated market-maker is National Bank Financial Inc.
