TALISKER ANNOUNCES FIRST DIRECT SHIPMENT OF ORE TO TAIWAN
Talisker Resources Ltd. has noted the successful loading and departure of its first ore shipment to Taiwan as part of the company's direct shipping ore strategy for the Bralorne gold project.
Talisker's inaugural ore shipment departed for Taiwan carrying a total of 10,944 wet metric tonnes (wmt) at a weighted average grade of 8.71 grams per tonne (g/t) gold. This milestone marks the commencement of commercial direct ore shipments from the Bralorne gold project. The shipment is enroute to Taiwan and is expected to arrive around Sept. 15.
Preparation of second shipment
Talisker continues to accumulate ore at the company's crushing and storage facility at Lillooet, B.C. The company currently holds stockpiles totalling 7,106 wmt consisting of 1,146 wmt at an average grade of 10.77 g/t and 5,960 wmt pending assays. Final gold assays are expected next week. Trucking of material from the Lillooet crushing facility to the North Vancouver Port is continuing, and the company anticipates the next marine vessel shipment to depart late October or early November.
