The Globe and Mail reports in its Tuesday, Oct. 6, edition that TD Cowen analyst Derek Lessard has reaffirmed his "buy" recommendation for Tilray Brands. The Globe's David Leeder writes in the Eye On Equities column that Mr. Lessard gave his share target a 50-cent trim to $4.50 (all figures U.S.). Analysts on average target the shares at $4.70. Mr. Lessard says in a note: "Tilray reports pre-market on Oct. 8. We expect double-digit revenue growth, led by the BrewDog acquisition and continued strength in recreational and international cannabis. Softer beer depletions and higher promotional and marketing spend push more of the expected EBITDA growth into 2H. Even so, we still forecast 11-per-cent EBITDA growth in 2027E, consistent with the low end of guidance." The Globe Sept. 22 that ATB Cormark Capital Markets analyst Brenna Cunnington had assumed coverage on Tilray Brands with a "sector perform" recommendation. The shares could then be had for $4.23.
