The Globe and Mail reports in its Friday, Jan. 26, edition that National Bank analyst Richard Tse continues to rate Thinkific Labs "outperform." The Globe's David Leeder writes that Mr. Tse boosted his share target by a loonie to $4. Mr. Tse says in a note, "At 1.3 times EV/S [enterprise value to sales] (fiscal 2024 estimates), we think the risk-to-reward profile is favourable, particularly for a company that's expected to exit this fiscal year with a positive adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization run-rate." The Globe reported on March 31, 2022, that Mr. Tse expressed skepticism over the claim by Thinkific Labs management that its restructuring will not materially impact the business. Accordingly, Mr. Tse continued to rate Thinkific Labs "outperform." In the item Mr. Tse said, "We still see a meaningful runway of growth from new customers to ARPU expansion for existing customers." The shares could then be had for $3.43. The Globe reported on July 22, 2022, and July 25, 2023, that Mr. Tse rated the shares "outperform," which were then worth $1.81 and $1.83. The Globe reported on Aug. 3, 2023, that ATB Capital called Thinkific "undervalued." It was then worth $1.96.
