TGX APPOINTS NEW DIRECTOR AND CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

TGX Energy & Resources Inc. has appointed Sebastian Lowes to its board of directors as an additional member and Mr. Lowes has been appointed chief executive officer, succeeding M. Bilal Bhamji.

Mr. Lowes is a corporate and securities lawyer with extensive experience in Canadian capital markets, with a particular focus on the mining and natural resources sector. He has advised on a wide range of complex transactions, including a $555.5-million initial public offering and multiple business combinations involving publicly listed issuers. Mr. Lowes's background in structuring and executing capital markets transactions is expected to support the company's strategic growth initiatives.
