THUNDERBIRD ENTERTAINMENT ANNOUNCES COMMENCEMENT OF NORMAL COURSE ISSUER BID

Thunderbird Entertainment Group Inc. will be purchasing shares of the company pursuant to its normal course issuer bid (NCIB), which began on Dec. 9, 2024, and expires on Dec. 8, 2025. This will be done in accordance with the rules and policies of the TSX Venture Exchange; provided that, for greater certainty, the number of shares to be purchased will not exceed 2 per cent of the total issued and outstanding shares of the company at the time of purchase.

Thunderbird believes the market price of its shares may not reflect the company's underlying value and that the purchase of its shares will enhance shareholder value and increase liquidity. The company intends to finance the purchases out of available cash.

All purchases made pursuant to the NCIB will be made through the facilities of the TSX-V. The NCIB will be made in accordance with the applicable rules and policies of the TSX-V and applicable Canadian securities laws. The price that Thunderbird will pay for shares in open market transactions will be the market price at the time of purchase. Any shares that are purchased under the NCIB will be cancelled. The actual number of shares that may be purchased and the timing of such purchases will be determined by the company. Decisions regarding purchases will be based on market conditions, share price, best use of available cash and other factors. Once completed, the company will continue to assess further purchases under the NCIB.

Thunderbird has appointed Cormark Securities Inc. to make purchases under the NCIB on its own behalf.
