SPECTRA PRODUCTS INC. ANNOUNCES STOCK OPTION GRANT

The board of directors of Spectra Products Inc. has granted, pursuant to the company's stock option plan, an aggregate of 200,000 options to an employee of the company. Each option entitles the holder thereof to purchase one common share of the company at an exercise price of 15 cents per common share and is exercisable for a period of five years from the date of grant.
