Spectra Products Inc. has signed a non-exclusive distribution agreement with CarGenerator Inc. for its new product. The product, CarGenerator, is the world's lightest portable generator at 11 pounds and is sleek and maintenance-free.

CarGenerator is a compact, weatherproof system manufactured in Canada that safely turns almost any car or SUV (sport utility vehicle) into a quiet reliable backup power source for the home or camping trip. CarGenerator is a safe and user-friendly product granting virtually anyone the freedom to access power from his or her vehicle. It produces 1,000 watts of pure sine-wave household electricity when you connect it to your car as the vehicle idles. It is a cleaner, lighter and space-saving alternative to a traditional noisy gas generator.
