SPECTRA PRODUCTS INC. ANNOUNCES THE APPOINTMENT OF A NEW DIRECTOR

Spectra Products Inc. has appointed Paul Andreola as an independent director of the company, subject to regulatory consent. Mr. Andreola's appointment is effective immediately and expands the board to four directors.

Mr. Andreola has over 25 years of business development and capital markets experience, raising in excess of $200-million in start-up and growth capital. Mr. Andreola was the co-founder of two technology companies and helped bring many companies public. He is the chief executive officer of NameSilo Technologies and currently serves on the board of Atlas Engineered Products, Total Telcom and Departure Bay Capital. Mr. Andreola also serves on the board of directors of West Coast Kids Cancer Foundation.
