SORRENTO RESOURCES EXERCISE OPTION TO ACQUIRE WING POND PROPERTY

Sorrento Resources Ltd. has fully exercised its option to acquire the Wing Pond property following the completion of a final cash payment of $50,000 and the issuance of two million common shares. The company now holds a 100-per-cent interest in and to the Wing Pond property, subject to a 3-per-cent net smelter returns royalty, of which the company may acquire two-thirds (2 per cent) at any time for $1-million.
