The Globe and Mail reports in its Thursday edition that Ukraine said Elon Musk's SpaceX had restricted Starlink services on Wednesday, hampering the country's attack and air-defence drone missions as worsening ties with Washington fuel concerns over U.S. battlefield support. A Reuters dispatch to The Globe says Russia launched more missiles and drones at Ukrainian cities, knocking out power to hundreds of thousands in attacks President Volodymyr Zelensky called "ostentatious disrespect" for President Donald Trump's call for an energy ceasefire. Mr. Trump turned on Mr. Zelensky after lifting sanctions on Russian diesel under pressure to curb fuel prices that have soared since the U.S. war with Iran began. He told Kyiv to stop attacking Russian refineries and urged Ukrainians to replace Mr. Zelensky. Mr. Zelensky told Piers Morgan that he was okay with Mr. Trump being in the middle of Ukraine and Russia, but "if you are in the middle, you have to stay in the middle." Mr. Musk, chief executive officer of SpaceX, which operates Starlink, said that the system was controlled by the U.S. government and military. The U.S. has threatened to cut off intelligence to press Kyiv to suspend attacks on Russian oil refineries.
