SONORO ENERGY COMMENCE DRILLING AT THE COUNTESS WELL IN ALBERTA

Sonoro Energy Ltd. has fully rigged up and has spudded the Countess well in Alberta. The Star Valley drilling rig 102 commenced drilling this morning after a smooth mobilization and rig set-up yesterday.

The well will target Mississippian-aged carbonate formations at an estimated depth of approximately 3,500 feet. The drilling team has focused, and will continue to focus, on strict health and safety practices during the drill program.

The Countess well is located at 04-15-19-15 W4, approximately 10 kilometres west of Brooks, Alta. Sonoro is the operator of the well and holds a 100-per-cent working interest in the project.
