SONORO ENERGY LTD. OPERATIONS UPDATE

Sonoro Energy Ltd.'s 11-30-32-23W3 well was drilled to a depth of 897.5 metres and encountered the edge of the targeted Waseca channel.

Drilling operations were safely and successfully conducted on budget and the drilling rig has been released. The well did encounter oil shows in the Waseca and has been cased with thermal cement pending further review. The company will evaluate the potential of a side track with a horizontal well to go up structure to the expected oil leg after it completes the multilateral horizontal well.

Sonoro is continuing to prepare for the previously announced multilateral horizontal well, which is approximately 1.5 kilometres away from the vertical well and extending a further 500 metres laterally. The results from the 11-30 vertical well are independent of the expectations for the multilateral horizontal well.
