Star Navigation enters partnership with Aero

STAR NAVIGATION SYSTEMS GROUP LTD. ANNOUNCES STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP WITH AERO INTELLIGENCE CORP. AND COLLABORATION WITH TORONTO METROPOLITAN UNIVERSITY

Star Navigation Systems Group Ltd. has entered a strategic partnership with Aero Intelligence Corp. in support of Aero's research and technology collaboration with Toronto Metropolitan University, one of Canada's leading urban innovation and applied research institutions.

Under the agreement, Aero will leverage Star's Star-ADS/Star-ISMS technology platform as a foundational component in the development of next-generation solutions. The collaboration between Aero and TMU is expected to explore and advance research and commercialization initiatives focused on innovative technologies for the aviation sector, with potential applications across transportation, energy and industrial monitoring industries.

Dr. Vik Singh, associate professor, global management studies, and co-director of the Institute for Sustainable Practices in Research and Enterprise, at the Ted Rogers School of Management, Toronto Metropolitan University, commented: "We are pleased to announce the Institute for Sustainable Practices in Research and Enterprise, Toronto Metropolitan University, and Aero Intelligence Corp., powered by Star, have launched an applied research partnership for sustainable aviation innovation. The collaboration will examine how sustainability, technology transfer, artificial intelligence and established industry capabilities can drive performance improvements and innovation across the aviation sector."

Aaron Dalal, chief executive officer of Aero Intelligence, commented: "Our collaboration with Toronto Metropolitan University is focused on accelerating innovation across the aviation, transportation, energy and industrial monitoring sectors.

"By combining TMU's applied research capabilities, brightest minds and engineering foresight along with Aero's commercialization expertise and Star's proven aviation technology platform experience, we believe we can create and deploy next-generation solutions with significant market potential."

Aero Intelligence will lead the research, technology, product development, industry application and commercialization focus with the collaboration and broader network of partners. Star's role will be to provide the underlying technology platform while participating in the economic opportunities generated through resulting innovations and commercial applications.

The company will provide further updates as milestones are achieved within the Aero and Toronto Metropolitan University collaboration.
