               SMC VENTURES PROPOSES TO EXTEND WARRANTS
Vancouver, British Columbia   SMC Ventures Inc. (the "Company" or "SMC") proposes to extend
the expiry date of previously issued warrants to purchase up to 12,880,000 common shares at an exercise
price of $0.05 per share. These warrants were issued in connection with a non-brokered private
placement completed in January 2018 and are scheduled to expire on January 3, 2019. If accepted by the
TSX Venture Exchange (the "Exchange"), the Company will extend the expiry date of the share purchase
warrants to January 3, 2020.

Trading in the Company's shares has been halted pending final approval to the arrangement and reverse
take-over transactions with Blockmint Technologies Inc., as announced in the Company's news releases
dated November 16, 2018 and July 20, 2018.
