SOUTHERN EMPIRE GRANTS STOCK OPTIONS

Southern Empire Resources Corp. has granted a total of 2.24 million stock options to its directors, officers, employees and consultants. Of the 2.24 million stock options, 1.74 million stock options are exercisable at seven cents per share, 100,000 stock options are exercisable at 11 cents per share and 400,000 are exercisable at 30 cents per share. All of the stock options will expire five years from the date of grant.
