SOFTCHOICE PUBLISHES 2022 ESG REPORT

Softchoice Corp. today released its 2022 environmental, social and governance (ESG) report, detailing the company's efforts, achievements and ambitions with respect to sustainable and responsible business practices.

In 2022, Softchoice advanced and expanded key ESG strategic priorities and focus areas, with achievements including:

• Environmental sustainability: embedding environmentally sustainable practices into its operations, reducing greenhouse gas emissions by approximately 3.4 per cent and emissions intensity by 12 per cent, and developing a road map to further reduce its environmental impact;
• Social responsibility: increasing the percentage of women in Softchoice's work force to approximately 39 per cent, expanding charitable partnerships, receiving a 100-per-cent score on the human rights campaign's corporate equality index and earning multiple Great Place to Work rankings;
• Governance excellence: maintaining sound governance and rigorous oversight practices, featuring in The Globe and Mail's women lead here ranking for Canadian corporations leading in executive gender diversity, and welcoming Sylvie Veilleux, an accomplished technology executive, to its board of directors.

Softchoice's ESG report follows the global reporting initiative (GRI) universal standards and uses the performance metrics within the software and information technology services standard as cited in the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB) standard.
