LIBERTY DEFENSE SECURES NEW MAJOR U.S. AIRPORT CONTRACT, FUELING MOMENTUM IN AVIATION SECURITY

Liberty Defense Holdings Ltd. has signed a new contract to deploy its Hexwave screening technology at a major U.S. airport that supports one of the nation's busiest air travel regions, marking another step forward in the company's expanding aviation presence.

The airport, which supports significant daily passenger traffic, with over 30 million passengers a year and a large aviation work force, is advancing security upgrades as part of broader efforts to modernize operations, improve efficiency and meet evolving screening requirements. The newly awarded deployment reflects growing interest among large airport operators in next-generation solutions that can operate effectively in high-throughput environments.

As part of the contract, Liberty Defense will install multiple Hexwave systems at aviation worker screening locations within the airport. The systems will support contactless, walkthrough screening designed to enhance threat detection while minimizing friction for employees moving through secured areas.

Hexwave combines millimetre-wave sensing, three-dimensional imaging and artificial intelligence to identify both metallic and non-metallic threats, including emerging and improvised weapon types. Built for continuous operation in demanding settings, the platform delivers consistent performance without requiring physical searches or divestiture.
