LIBERTY DEFENSE ANNOUNCES THE TESTING AND OPERATIONAL TRIAL OF THE HEXWAVE AT AN UPCOMING NATO SCOPING TRIAL

Liberty Defense Holdings Ltd. has been invited to attend a NATO scoping trial and limited user assessment by a NATO team that includes the U.S. Army to perform an evaluation of the Hexwave system for one week in October.

The NATO scoping trials are a collaboration between U.S. government agencies and NATO countries to collect and analyze security detection performance data for the purpose of determining person-borne improvised explosive device (PBIED) detection capabilities of U.S. and European partners for force protection.

During the trial, the next-generation screening capabilities of the Hexwave walk-through system will be demonstrated, including:

• Continuous, contactless, high-throughput flow of screening without having to pause or stop;
• No need to remove benign items like cellphones, keys and wallets;
• Detection of non-metallic and metallic threats such as liquid, powder and plastic explosives, incendiary devices, and unauthorized weapons like 3-D-printed ghost guns and more;
• Automated detection with threat location on the resolution station for ease of clearing alarm;
• Quick set-up and portability of the system.
