LIBERTY DEFENSE HOSTS OPEN HOUSE FOR FUTURE USERS AND DEMONSTRATES COMMERCIAL HEXWAVE SYSTEM

Liberty Defense Holdings Ltd. is hosting an open house today for key opinion leaders in multiple targeted customer verticals in need of enhanced threat detection and seamless on-person screening.

Liberty will showcase the commercial HEXWAVE(TM) walkthrough people screening portal, currently in production at the Company's Wilmington headquarters. Attendees include current and potential customers in discussions with the Company from organizations including professional sports, airports, universities, a national laboratory, state legislatures, a large religious center, as well as partner organizations.

"With the significant interest we have been having, we are pleased to be hosting all of these different organizations and demonstrating the effectiveness of the HEXWAVE system in screening for metallic and non-metallic threats," says Bill Frain, CEO of Liberty Defense. "Today's environment of heightened risks needs technology that can detect non-traditional weapons to move beyond what metal detection offers."

Frain continues, "There is a strong demand for next generation technology like HEXWAVE as The United States Department of Homeland Security recently issued a bulletin warning that lone offenders and small groups motivated by a range of ideological beliefs and personal grievances continue to pose a persistent and lethal threat to the country. Both domestic extremists and foreign terrorists are using online extremist messaging and call for violence to motivate supporters to launch attacks. Individuals upset about the 2024 election, new laws, or court decisions might attack 'US critical infrastructure, faith-based institutions, individuals or events associated with the LGBTQIA+ community, schools, racial and ethnic minorities, and government facilities and personnel, including law enforcement.'"

Liberty has completed many successful customer evaluations at sites including Los Angeles International Airport and The Port of Oakland, demonstrating multiple configurations for effective screening of aviation workers.

The Company will also demonstrate the HEXWAVE system at the upcoming Annual American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE) Conference & Exposition June 3 - 5, 2023 and speak at 10:35am on June 4 at the Exhibitor Solutions Theatre.
