RHELION LIFE SCIENCES WHOLLY OWNED SUBSIDIARY FILAMENT HEALTH SIGNS SUPPLY AND LICENSING AGREEMENT WITH THE UNIVERSITY OF SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA FOR PEX010 IN A TRIAL FOR PSILOCYBIN-ASSISTED MINDFULNESS THERAPY
Rhelion Life Sciences Corp.'s wholly owned subsidiary, Filament Health Corp., has entered into a supply and licensing agreement with the University of Southern California, on behalf of its Keck School of Medicine of USC, for the supply of PEX010, Filament's patented, standardized, good manufacturing practice manufactured botanical psilocybin drug candidate.
PEX010 will be supplied for psilocybin assisted mindfulness therapy.
Filament supplies PEX010 as the investigational drug product. The study examines whether structured mindfulness meditation training can augment psilocybin-assisted therapy including in a clinical depression cohort. Filament is not the sponsor of the trial and is not responsible for its conduct.
PEX010, Filament Health's botanical psilocybin drug candidate, underscores Filament's position as a leading supplier of pharmaceutical-grade natural psilocybin, supplying and supporting more than 80 academic and philanthropic research studies worldwide.
PEX010 is produced using Filament's proprietary extraction, purification and stabilization methods, giving investigators consistent composition across every dose, every study and every research site. On April 30, 2026, the company completed its previously announced acquisition of Filament Health, including its portfolio of 77 issued patents across 13 patent families and its lead drug candidate, PEX010.
