Global Remote Technologies Announces Appointment of New President



Vancouver, British Columbia (FSCwire) - Global Remote Technologies Ltd. ("Global Remote Technologies" or the “Company”) (CSE:RGT) is pleased to announce that on September 9, 2015, Kane Smith joined the Company as the President and a director and will report to Chris Dorris, CEO.  Mr. Smith’s’ appointment follows the resignation of Chris Dorris as President.  Mr. Dorris will stay on as CEO and a director.

 

About Kane Smith

 

Kane Smith comes to Global Remote Technologies with more than a decade of experience, including management of multiple oil and gas projects, general construction projects, and various positions and duties with the US Army.  He holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Science from Campbell University in Buies Creek, North Carolina, and graduated from the Harvard Business School Owner/President Management program in 2013.

 

Mr. Smith founded North American Energy Holdings LLC in 2014 after completing several years of independent consulting contracts HSE (health, safety, and environment) and HSSE (health, safety, security, and environment) supervisor / inspector for EXCO, DXP, Access Midstream, DHW Oilfield Services, Newfield Resources, and Chesapeake Energy.
