RACKLA METALS ANNOUNCES THE ADDITION OF MS. CLAUDINE LEE TO ADVISORY COMMITTEE AND THE GRANTING OF STOCK OPTIONS
Claudine Lee has agreed to join the advisory committee
to assist Rackla Metals Inc. in developing its indigenous partnership strategy and engagement framework and permitting in connection with the advancement of its northern critical mineral assets.
Ms. Lee is a professional geoscientist and has over 20 years of experience working in the Canadian North on mining projects from exploration to operations. Starting as an exploration geologist, Ms. Lee worked on gold and diamond exploration projects. She continued supporting the mining and O&G industry as a project manager and consultant for contaminated sites in Alberta, Yukon and the Northwest Territories, before returning to mining and operations with 10 years at the Ekati diamond mine. There she was responsible for on-site H&S (health and safety) and environment operations, as well as the caretaker of indigenous benefit agreements and relationships with indigenous governments, and territorial and federal governments. She joined Canadian Zinc in February, 2021, as the vice-president of corporate social responsibility. In this work, Ms. Lee has been responsible for negotiating and implementing impact benefit agreements and ESG (environmental, social and governance) programs, and is committed to helping companies deliver sustainable mining projects and benefits to indigenous partners.
Ms. Lee holds an MSc in geology/environmental geochemistry from Queen's University (2003) and an honours BSc in geology and environmental science from the University of Western Ontario (1999). Ms. Lee is a professional geoscientist registered with Engineers and Geoscientist of British Columbia, and the Northwest Territories and Nunavut Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists.
The company also announces
that it has granted stock options to its directors, officers, employees and consultants to purchase up to a total of 1.9 million common shares of the company, exercisable for up to 10 years at a price of 18 cents per share.
