ANNOUNCES THE PASSING OF DIRECTOR JOHN LONDRY

Rockport, Ontario - Rockport Capital Corp. (the "Company" or "Rockport") (TSXV: R.P). announces with great sadness the passing of its director John Londry. On behalf of the Board of Directors and management team, we extend our deepest sympathies and condolences to John's family and friends.
John was a experienced seasoned veteran geologist working in mineral exploration since 1969. He was involved in projects ranging from grassroots to advanced and development stages (Holloway, Eagle River, River Valley). John gained a wide and varied experience base in exploration techniques and various commodities. He held senior positions of with Noranda Exploration, Hemlo Gold Mines and Battle Mountain Gold. More recently, John was a self-employed geologist and mining consultant with Emerald Geological Services, a director of Rockport Capital and New Age Metals inc.
Harry Barr CEO, remarked "it is with great sadness that we share the news of John's passing and our entire Company mourns our loss. John was a well-respected colleague and friend to many. John brought many years of experience, commitment and sense of humour to our lives. His greatest attribute was that he was a true gentleman. He will be missed both personally and professionally."
